KBW Ventures CIO participates in Saudi Arabia Investors Forum in Riyadh

Ekta Tolani, Chief Investment Officer of KBW Ventures, took part in the Saudi Arabia Investors Forum held in Riyadh on September 10. A business platform connecting top regional investors to exchange insights, the Forum brought together global best practices with local expertise.

Tolani participated in the “Manoeuvring the Macro” panel discussion, moderated by Awaiz Patni, Group CFO of Saudi Bugshan Company. The panel also featured Ismail Radwan, Senior Director for Economics and Strategy at the Public Investment Fund (PIF), Fahd Iqbal, CIO Middle East at UBS, and Manpreet Gill, Chief Investment Officer for Africa, Middle East, and Europe at Standard Chartered.

Tolani discussed the megatrends facing the industry and how KBW Ventures is navigating macroeconomic trends through strategic investments in AI. She highlighted the current focus areas of Prince Khaled bin Alwaleed, Founder and CEO of KBW Ventures, in driving the company’s investments.

She highlighted KBW Ventures most recent investments Journey Clinical and Rula Health, online and teleservice medtech companies. Tolani emphasized these investments align with the KBW Ventures focus on providing scalable technology addressing evolving market needs.

In the fintech realm, Tolani elaborated on SiFi, a KBW Ventures portfolio company based in Saudi Arabia that recently closed its Seed round. The SiFi investment further bolsters the Firm’s B2B SaaS segment, with Prince Khaled actively driving this portfolio pillar.
