Prince Khaled bin Alwaleed joins global experts to discuss advancements in the future of food at Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week

The virtual edition of the international summit places food security and solution-based technologies on the agenda

Prince Khaled bin Alwaleed, founder and CEO of KBW Ventures, will join global experts to discuss the future of food at Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week 2021 (ADSW) hosted by Masdar.  

The conversation, “The Future of Food – New Tastes, New Priorities, New Technologies”, is scheduled to air on January 19, 2021, at 11:30am GST as part of the event’s “Live and Move” stream. Moderated by Alzbeta Klein, Director General, International Fertilizer Association, panelists for the discussion include Max Rye, co-founder and Chief Strategist of TurtleTree Labs, Gabrielle Rubenstein, co-founder and CEO of Manna Tree, and David Rosenberg, co-founder and CEO of Aerofarms.

The “Live and Move” agenda pillar addresses various solutions pertaining to the future of the world including transportation and space travel, alongside ADSW’s “Care and Engage” pillar, and “Work and Invest” pillar, with the wider agenda focusing on sustainable development and opening up social, economic and technological opportunities for delivering a green recovery post COVID-19.
ADSW 2020 welcomed 45,000 attendees from over 170 countries, including the UAE’s leadership, 10 heads of state, 180 international ministers, and over 500 representatives from the world’s media. Prince Khaled’s involvement in ADSW stems from 2019, when he participated as a panelist alongside business luminaries discussing impact investing and technology.
